Status Update: "Robbing This Dude's House! LOL!"
There’s a rule in most workplaces that you don’t access Facebook or other social media while you’re doing that job.
That rule seems to have been missed by a guy named Nicholas Wig in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He was recently arrested, charged with burglarizing a home and stealing the owner’s credit cards, cash and watch.
How did the police catch up to him? Wig logged onto Facebook while in the burgled house, using the homeowner’s computer.
The Dakota County Attorney wasn’t too kind in his assessment of the burglar. “It’s a pretty unusual case, might even make the late night television shows in terms of not being too bright.”
