We were talking this morning about the guy from Mississippi that drove almost 3000 miles to bring back pizza from his hometown in Massachusetts! He packed up his car with 10 cooler so he could haul back 250 pizza from his favorite place.
We all have that one local food or restaurant from home that we would drive hundreds of miles for.
Whenever Sue and I visit her folks in Maine, we always have to stop in for a cup of chowder at Cappy’s Chowder House in Camden. Anticipating the thick, creamy chowder makes that 8 hour road trip well worth it!

Whenever I visit my family in NEPA, I always grab a tray of pizza from Tommy’s in Kingston on the way out of town.

My husband has made special trips to White Castle.
I live in Hazleton and go to NY just for pizza.
I have family that visits from Florida and they always take a case of Tastycakes back with them.

There’s nothing like Duff’s Hot Wings from Buffalo, NY.
Thank God I live across the street from the Yuengling Brewery in Tampa, Fl or I’d never have a lager!
