Heritage Valley Bike Tour

Thanks to everyone that rode in the 5th Annual Heritage Valley Bike Tour on Saturday.  Despite a limited amount of sunshine, it still turned out to be another great day on a bike.  In fact, any day on a bike is a great one!

My team, the 4 Stooges, rode the 22 miler to Carbondale & back.

The start of any bike ride is always the most challenging part of the day.  One screwup, and it's Dominos!

Hello Carbondale!  We're halfway to the finish line.

I took a second to take a selfie in Archbald.  Not sure why my piehole is open.  Things with wings soon discovered it.

My ride, thanks to my friends at Cedar Bike & Paddle in Scranton.
I love Trek bikes!!!

The Lackawanna River Heritage Trail is a 70+ mile long recreation trail along the Lackawanna River.  It runs from the NY border south to Pittston.  It's a simply amazing trail system with new sections opening all the time.

Check it out for yourself at www.lvha.org

I hope to see you at next year's ride!
