Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful niece Amy! I can' believe she's two already!!! The happiest days of my life were when she & her brother Benjamin were born. I love them both so much I could burst! Check out the cuteness...
And a few pics from my weekend here - shout out to my best friends in the world for making this March tolerable! I've had a rough month. Breakup with my ex, new apartment, no furniture, had to start from zero all over again, soooo.... Desiree, Danielle, Jenis, I love you guys SO much! THANK YOU for being there for me always! You're amazing :)
Wow, what a CRAZY couple days! Thank you EVERYONE who came to our Pint Party Blood Drive with the Red Cross yesterday! We exceeded our goal of 40 pints and could NOT be more stoked! Rocky, Freddie, and I all donated. So did Intern Travis (his first time - he was literally shaking, so nervous, but he was a total rock star once he got in the chair). Each pint saves 3 lives so over 100 lives saved by the end of the day! Not too shabby!!
Our parade in Scranton was a rainy one but a fun one! YouTube star Megan Nicole performed the whole parade route and was absolutely wonderful. Such a joy to work with! Now off to dry clothes and hot chocolate... THANKS SCRANTON!!!
OMG what a perfect way to start the day! THIS was waiting for me on my desk this morning - a supercute fan letter from a kid named Ryan in Olyphant!! I mean, how ADORABLE is this?! So I put together a little care package for him :) I hand-wrote him a letter, sent KRZ sunglasses, t-shirt, and stickers, AND an autographed picture.
So I just got back from hosting Shiprocked 2015 with my rock radio show, The Tour Bus Radio Show. This is our 4th year doing it and I'd say DEFINITELY the best! Pictures speak louder than words so here we go...
Us welcoming the crowd, kicking off the cruise - from left: Kayla from Sirius XM, Comedian Big Jay Oakerson, Me, my Tour Bus Radio cohost Ralph Sutton
Our view from the stage.
My friends Shawn & Tracy from Alabama - we hang every year
From top: Buckcherry onstage, me & my cohost Ralph hosting beach wars, middle pic is Corey Glover from Living Colour (this is right after I SANG with him - THRILL OF MY LIFE!!!!), bottom left is Andrew W.K. after his amazing set, and Borat is bottom right...... he won best bathing suit. You can see why.
First of all HAPPY VETERANS DAY to all our beloved servicemembers today! We owe everything to you. Our love and appreciation always! I'm sitting here with a risotto hangover and still-full belly from my cooking lesson last night. Yes, I cooked!!! Someone tell my mom. Haha professional Chef Michael Langdon and his 10 yr oldson Ayden offered to teach me, after they heard me say on the air that I don't know how to cook ANNNYTHING for my boyfriend.
So.... one risotto, one chicken parmesan, and two salads later = I did it!!! THANK YOU Michael & Ayden so much! You guys are a blast!
Big thanks to my girl JASMINE BROOKS from WBRE TV for doing her newscast from our radio show Wednesday morning! Jasmine, you're beautiful inside and out! Was a wonderful pleasure to have you in the studio!
She wanted to convey what goes into making a radio show and how we work behind the scenes. I hope it was educational for everyone watching, even though there is very little work behind the scenes lol....
Hey just wanted to say THANKS everyone who voted - Jackson Vee and I won "Best Duo" at The Electric City Music Awards over the weekend!! We really appreciate all your support, and to those who came to see us at Kildare's Sunday night = you ROCK! Thanks again :)
THANK YOU everyone for making Bras Across The Bridge such a HUGE success!! Hopefully we'll have a fundraising total later today, but safe to say LOTS of money raised for breast cancer yesterday, so let's all smile at that :)
THANK YOU everyone who came out to the Red Cross Blood Drive I hosted at Pocono Raceway last week! We had record numbers and that's all thanks to YOU, Northeast PA. Plus it helped that they were letting everyone who donated $10 drive their own cars around the Tricky Triangle! WEEEEHOOOOO!!!
Don't forget to grab the Red Cross App, to keep tabs on all the local drives/events. Remember: cool kids give blood. REALLY cool kids give it often.
They said "try to look badass"! So I kinda look like I'm being knighted. Not sure why I thought this was badass...
Harvesting the Lissy Lou red cells. Happy to help :)
